Ponds

I love the way ponds are a world unto themselves.

The fish know nothing else exists.

As far as they know, the whole world is within the borders of their experience.

Awareness always defines existence.

But even in this contracted awareness, it contains all the elements of the universe—

flow, interdependence of life, and yes, reflections of its own and ours.
